ABOUT US

Pertubuhan Komuniti Kasih Selangor was set up in the year 2015 to reach out to the underprivileged and poverty stricken, especially the Orang Asli to assist, transform and uplift their economic well being to be on par with other ethnic groups.

These social concern activities first started under the auspices of the Church - Metro Tabernacle Assembly of God, Kuala Lumpur back in the year 2008 and had since evolved into a non-profit, non-government organisation to better serve the orang asli.

We are a group of like-minded volunteers who are dedicated to helping the poor and the underprivileged through the funding and managing of community transformation programmes.

Change is always a slow and painful process, more so for the Orang Asli. We have taken up the challenge to change their "tidak apa" mindset (don't care mindset) and to instill in them the concept of "berdikari" (self-independent). Our role is to help them to successfully assimilate into the rapid modern developments.
